Landing on Loqui Listening🎯in 2024

Loqui means to talk in Latin. As we close out 2024, we are grateful for everyone who contributed getting the application Loqui Listening to where it is. From the pen and paper drawing in a notepad (above) to a sketch in Paint, to the fully functional app (on the right) we are using today. This journey has been a testament to the hard work and dedication put into the application.

Loqui Listening is an app that provides on-demand access to active listeners when you need someone to talk to. Whether you need to vent, share your thoughts, or simply have someone to listen, our anonymous listeners are available 24x7 to offer a non-judgmental ear.

Years from now we will look back on today (New Years Eve, December 31st, 2024) and realize how much further we had to go. But today is worth celebrating and we are so grateful for being exactly where we are.

Thank you (cousin) Liam helping land on the name Loqui (lo·key) Listening.🎯Prior to Loqui the app was called Talk Now, before Talk Now it was Listen Upp while we were developing the app. Thank you to the individuals who spoke up and helped brain storm hundreds of names that we sampled prior to Loqui Listening. Again, “Loqui” means “to speak” or “to talk”👄in Latin.

We believe that everyone deserves to feel heard and understood, and we are committed to providing a safe and supportive space for individuals to connect and find their voice.

Together we are building something really special. The small but talented team has accomplished something truly remarkable in the last 6 months and there is so much more to come. 🚀
